These birds fly in groups until they reach their destination. Their flight shape is a "V" since in this way the resistance to the wind is less and they must make less effort to go further.

When one of them leaves his place in the formation he immediately returns to the group because he cannot fly alone. When the one in front gets tired, he goes to the last place and the second takes his place.

Those who are further back make sounds while flying to encourage those in front and if someone becomes ill or is injured they take him between two companions to a safe place, wait for him to recover and return to the formation.
